The Charlie Horse Riding Club formed in 2004 and grew
rapidly from 8 members to 25+. We have a lot of fun while learning
something new. Some of our meeting topics have included making horse
treats, driving, nutrition, sidesaddle, yoga for riding, pasture management.
We have held dressage clinics, jumping clinics and have a Games day
every year. We tailgate at a polo match every summer.
Our objective is to create a non-competitive atmosphere with informational
and fun activities. Our emphasis is on education and improving riding
ability in a safe and supportive environment. Mounted events are
geared toward enjoyment and safety.
Our membership dues are $35 for the 2008 calendar year. We welcome
new members. Please contact one of the officers below if you are
interested in joining.

Our meetings are held the third Monday or Sunday of every month, 7:00/7:30 p.m. The meetings have a speaker or activity each month. We also try to plan another social activity at different times each month.

Dawn McCuen at the KA Equestrian Center on Derry Meeting Road, Cochranville is often a host site for our mounted activities in the warmer months. In the winter months, we meet at the Methodist church in Cochranville.
